Food

We know what children can be like so we always discuss with you before you arrive any dietary requirements and preferences.

All our food is homemade and the meals are tasty but healthy and they always love the food – check our reviews.

Kids can either eat with the adults or separately at a slightly earlier time if you need to get them to bed.

Chalet Facilities

For younger kids the chalet is well equipped with stair gates, baby monitors, cots, high chairs and baby baths. The cots are travel cots but we have an extra mattress in them for comfort and we provide linen.

Also for the younger kids we have a 3 wheel off-road buggy which has brakes and works well on the snow – useful if you want to take the little one out for a stroll. The Lonzagne lift allows you to take the buggy should you want to head up to the resort.

The chalet is also well equipped for older kids with a snug room with a games console so the kids can play there if the adults want their own space.

Sledges are provided and there’s a handy slope by the lobster pots lift, just a few minutes’ walk from the chalet.

Nursery Slopes

By the bottom of the Peisey lift there is a “ski garden” with a magic carpet for young kids to practice on. The main nursery slopes (which are also for adults) are at the top of the Peisey lift.

Located at 2200 metres, it is fully usable throughout the season, even when it’s starting to get warm. Beginners can take the lift back down, rather than ski.

End of the Valley

There is a free shuttle bus which runs from the chalet to the end of the valley and takes 10 minutes. Here you’ll find a sledge run which the kids will love. There’s also horse and dog sledging here as well as being a beautiful place to walk around.

Its’ a great place to go if you’re not skiing and need to entertain the kids. We go there regularly with our daughter.

Childcare

Snow Little Alpine Nannies provide experienced nannies who come to the chalet. Always reasonably priced, they are great with the kids and we can highly recommend them.

Nursery Le Chat Botté are the local crèche and are very conveniently located next to the Peisey chair lift. Our daughter has spent many days there and they’ve always kept her well entertained, holding outdoor activities such as sledging most days.

We can particularly recommend Nursery Le Chat Botté if you have kids doing ESF lessons because you can drop the kids off and ESF will collect and return them to the crèche.
